Christmas in Munich

German Christmas Markets.

Little wooden houses selling hand manufactured products, hot wine, food, sweets, wooden stuffs, coloured stuffs, glass stuffs. And the warmth that is to be found in those fully enlightened blocs. Christmas like feeling.

German markets are famous all over the world, and copied all over the world. Can you name any big western city that does not have a German Christmas market? Paris has (lots), London has, not even to mention Edinburgh, Austria has (ok, this is a little bit more adequate), Nice has, and so on...

Munich has many of them, the most famous being on Marienplatz, with additionnal smaller markets in everw areas in Munich: Schwabing, Sendlinger Tor, ... And on top of that, the big festivalTollwood, that mixes shows, Christmas market, and, of course food.

All the Christmas markets open tomorrow.. How excited I am! How much I wants to feel the warmth of coming Christmas time :-)
