The flight passenger in Paris; a survival guide

(Based on a true story...)

Ha.. What a pleasure to have a flight departing from Paris..

You arrive at Roissy by car. Of course, you miss the entrance of the terminal. Direction is too bad. Not too bad. you only have to drive all around the airport until you can finally access your terminal (15 min gone)
You arrive at the parking. Another 10 minutes until you can find a parking place.
Lifts.. Out of service. Not too bad. You can climb the stairs with your 20 Kg luggage.
Entrance desk. Your flight pass is not checked.. Anyone could get in. But after all who cares?
Checking desk. Takes another 5 minutes to find where 2D57 is.. And there 100 meters waiting line.. Mmmh.. And it does not move at all. Oh yeah, of course, one of the computer is broken, and the baggage carousel is blocked.. Not too bad. After all, checking closes for you in 15 minutes.. Thank God you're not alone in the case.. 20 minutes later, you finally managed to drop your luggage. Congratulations!
Next step.. Security control. Funny, the line is twice as big as the one at the check-in desk..  You wait you wait. Of wourde at the end, there a two lines, you choose the wrong one.. (Murphy, you are tricky sometimes..)
Finally it's your turn to go through the gate. You put off your boots. Brrr cold floor. There you go. But wait. Here comes a family with a baby.. And late people, too.. So sorry, you have to let your turn.. Clod feet? Yes, and?
Here you finally are, ready at the boarding gate. Well of course, no seat to seat. Why are so many people travelling?
Oh sorry, you learn that your flight is being delayed because of 10 cm snow falling. And no, we cannot provide you with any information wbout how things are going on.. When are you gonna take your plane? Who knows?.. Snow is a big thing, you know. Even if in other airports anywhere in the world (outside france), snow does not hinder traffic.. Anyway, after 3 hours waiting, it's your turn, you can finally board! And since you're flying on a big plane no need to take a bus! Here you go through the gate, you walk and.. Oh no, stairs.. well we'll have to take the bus in the end. You get in the coach; all packed (is Aeoroprt de Paris a subsidiary of RATP?? ). You wait (again), and finally, the coach moves. Yeah! We're almost there.
5 minutes later you stop. At a gate of terminal 2F. ???
Bus drives forward, backwards, forward.. Ar we ok now? no, once more bacwards.. what the hell are we doing? Can we get to the plane? No, finally gates open. Why are we in 2F? Cause the plane is parked here and after having gotten diwn the stairs, you now have to climb the stairs again, walk through a long corridor. And finally finally, here you are in the plane..

How nice it is to be a Aeroport de Paris user... :)

And you think your nightmare is over?  Well.. not until you have come back from your trip and left the airport trust me.
Bacause you risk a lot on your way back. Your flight arrives early in Paris.. Cool, isn't it? Although you have to wait in the plae, because, you understand, you're early, wo no one's there and ready to guide the plane to his parking place, open the door, take care of you.. Since when do people arrive early in Paris. And once you got out the plane, you still have to wait for your luggage. And this can last last last last.. Yep, that much..

So in Paris, only one piece of advice for your survival. Be patient, and don't  try to find the logic... :))))
