A week end in Alsace
10 people coming from all over Gemany (Bremen and Munich) and France (Nantes and Paris) gathered in one tiny village calles Niedernai, 35 km away from Strasbourg. This was the theme of the week end. 10 people that had not been alltogether in a long long time, who met to party, see each other, and enjoy one another. A total success.
On the cultural side, strasbourg and Niedernai. I even felt totally over-citizen when I saw the rabbits and the exotic birds that the father of our host grow, and when I saw salads and carrotts being grown in people's garden :-). I found all that so exciting, so unusual!
On the partying side... well.. a lot!!
On the culinary side?? No, no choucroute! Only a huge raclette for 10 people :-)
On the friendship side? the extraordinary of meeting people we had not seen since September
All that was great. Short, but so much worth it. So nice after a week at the office. And Strasbourg and the Alsace are so beautiful.. All that quite close to Munich in the end.
This was an exotic week end, with huge lack of sleep, but nice, nice!!
