An afternoon at Nymphemburg Palace
Another sunny and not too freezing week end in Munich. How nice! So I've decided to take this opportunity to go somewhere I had been wanting to go since long. Nymphemburg Palace, a Versailles like castle where Louis 2d was born. With a Versailles like parc as well, with a big artificial lake in perspective, hidden houses, and woods.
And it was so sunny, I sat by the lake with a nice book, and just enjoyed the sun.
On the other hand, the visit of the castle was less interesting. A few rooms, no explanations, but nice tapestries, stucs, furniture and ceilings. In the Barocco style.
Well, it was a cultural week end after all!
