Work around Munich
Tomorrow, I am starting a new job. I am quite excited to see how it is going to be. am going to become a Consultant in Marketing Automation. Sounds good, don't you think? Maybe some day I will explain you what it means.
But for now, I would like to talk about commuting. Because yes, the job is unfortunately ca. 25 km away from where I live, this means not in Munich.
Now I can already hear you say: "what, are you crazy? working as a consultant and not even close to your home? You are going to die spending your time either in the office or in traffic jam".
Ok, if I would be living in Paris, this would be probably true. Enjoying the peripherique everyday, with its pollution, its stress, and finishing every night at around 11 p.m. ... Yes my life would probably be a nightmare.
But I am living in Munich, and so it will be: arrive at 9 a.m. leave at 6 p.m.. German people know what having a life means. The office is not equiped to sleep in there anyway :)
And about traffic jam. Well maybe a little. But pollution, definitely not. To go to work, I have to cross some fields, say hi to the sheeps that are nicely eating the grass next to where I work . No joke. I am going to work in the countryside. Quite a change from Paris, isn't it?
