A night bird in Monaco: Thursday night at the Karément
Quite some time since I lasr wrote on my blog.. I'm back in Munich, but I would like to review my last days in Nice.Lqst thursday night.. This was a bit like the climax of my holidays.. for the first time ever, I was to go to Monaco to party. Not only had i never partied on the Riviera, but, for my first time, I was to attend one of the trendiest place in the world.. (It is so trendy that we met the guys from the beach, there..) ok, it sounds a bit like Bevely Hills, but I was excited :-)
We went with my sis, my brother in law and a firned, and decided to attend an afterwork at the Grimaldi Forum, by the sea. It's called the "Karément" It had a few advantages: the spot is dramatic, and it was free...
And I had such a great night :) First of all, the place was so modern and great looking. All with glass, white furniture, pink lighting. Very trendy, indeed. We thought we would have had troubles to get in, but not at all, we were not even asked our ID card...
And the terrace was stunning, looking over the sea. And the DJ was great too. Music of the 90s, 80s, mixed with some electro sound, but, most of all, this is a salsa place, with a salsa class, and salsa music. I would really recommend it to people.
I had only two regrets... First of all, many people were young. Very youg. Too young. I would bet some of them were not 18.. And I had no one to dance salsa with.. Since my bro in law does not dance salsa.. well, next time I hope. But i promiss next year I go back to this place!
