Starnberger See
Munich is beautiful. It trully is.
We were to go to Salzburg today, however, for many reasons, we decided to delay the trip, which was all the best for me. I could then do to my ballet class in the morning. I feel so bad about practising so scarcely.. But it's getting back, I guess..
Anyway, this was not the point. Instead, on this sunny afternoon, we decided to go with some friends to Starnberger See, which is basically a lake just outside Munich and not far away from the mountains.. I knew it from reputation, being it one of the most famous lakes around, but had never been there, and did not know exactly what to expect..
As we got there, I just got struck by so much beauty. Only 30 min outside Munich, and you get there.. A lake, and, in background, the Alps,still partly snowy. It was so dramatic. I just stayed there 10 min, watching, and hardly realizing this was for real. I love that kind of landscapes. It just make me feel in peace.
I'm so lucky to have been able to see that today.
And I know there are so many other beautiful places to discover in Munich. Munich is so beautiful
