French Riviera.. my love
It may sound a bit clichee, but spending the summer in Nice is very enjoyable.. And I want to make the most of my two weeks there.
To me, living the French Riviera like way means:
First anf foremost, going to the beach everyday. In that matter the beach "Passable" in saint-Jean Cap Ferrat is a little jewel, isolated in the Villefranche Bay. Not too many people, turquoise water, absolute cleanness, fishes and no jelly-fishes. A little heaven, so to say.
Having breakfast on our terrace "avec vue", which is like a new tradition here, that I completely agree with. 9.00 a.m., good morning the sea.
Having a nice and long break after lunch, just to relax. Something we should introduce at work.. Definitely..
And then, wandering here and there, on the Riviera. Yesterday in Nice, today going to Monaco just to eat an ice cream, tomorrow going shopping.. Who knows.
Eating ice creams, lots of ice-creams.. especially from the merchants in the "Vieux Nice". Well, it's not as cheap as in Munich, but it's sooo good, and feels sooo summer-like.
Going out at night, be it for the fireworks on the 14th of July, to a restaurant by the sea in Villefranche sur Mer, having another ice-cream (again!!!), going clubbing.. And sleep sleep and sleep.
I just love that more than ever this year... If only life could always be like that..
